SEAN DAVID
AIA
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Sean David is a New Orleans native and Jesuit High School alumnus. He is a licensed architect in the state of Louisiana whose design journey has spanned award-winning projects and nationally recognized achievements. He holds a Master of Architecture from Louisiana State University, where he was honored with the Dean’s Medal of Excellence in Architecture, the AIA Henry Adams Medal, and the LSU School of Architecture Technology Award. He also earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado.
Prior to joining MADE as Director of Operations, Sean worked at Trahan Architects where he played integral roles on landmark projects such as the Louisiana State Museum and Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches, the Owensboro-Daviess County Convention Center in Kentucky, and the $560 million capital improvements implementation to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. As a senior architect/project manager, Sean has led a diverse portfolio of project types including residential, institutional, commercial, cultural, religious, sporting venue, and large-scale mixed-use developments. He has 18+ years of experience seeing projects through all phases of design and construction. He enjoys being on site, understanding the practical realities of how components come together, working through problematic details, and imparting his knowledge and experiences on to the younger designers.
Sean resides in the Fairgrounds neighborhood with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, live music, and expanding his ever-growing—yet always-too-small—record collection.
